Danielle and Chris, Coastal Wedding at the Stage Neck Inn in York, Maine

This year, I got to start off my wedding season with Danielle and Chris on a gorgeous April day by the ocean in York, Maine. The day couldn't have been more perfect! It was an intimate wedding, with mostly family (my favorite!) - though Danielle's mom secretly invited one of Danielle's closest long time friends, Nicole. It was such a wonderful surprise!

Danielle and Chris are so sweet, and you can tell they have a lot of fun together. They just lit up around each other, and it was so fun hanging out with them throughout the day! After dinner, we went down to the water to take a few photos of them together, and right before I left, Chris had the idea to try for a few photos in front of the water, under the moon. A+ idea for sure :)

Lexi Mire + St. Simons Island

Each February since my mom passed away, I come to SSI to be on my beloved island and to visit her final resting place in the beautiful and historic Christ Church Cemetery. Usually, Lexi and I get to spend time together, too. This year has been wonderful - my Gran and Gramps are here for the month, and Lexi got to stay with us for 3 days. Yesterday, we visited the cemetery, then wandered over to the beach, then the park by Epworth by the Sea.

It's nice to take photos just for me this week.

It's so much fun seeing Lexi, especially since this time, we're planning her move to Boston in May, when she'll be moving into the second bedroom in mine and Joe's apartment! She'll be joining me as a second shooter for most of my weddings for the rest of the year, and potentially working as an associate wedding photographer for me in the future! I'm SO excited on so many levels to have her living in Boston with us :)
