Hi, I’m Em Tebbetts (they/them), a 3/6 Self Projected Projector through the lens of Human Design, and a very queer, very neurodivergent human living in Jamaica Plain (Boston), MA on Massachusett land.
I’m a messily, exuberantly multidisciplinary artist - delighting in exploring and playing with different mediums. I’m also a somatic coach and facilitator.
In my work, I use somatic tools such as gentle movement, embodied doodling, journaling, art-making, sound, and song to guide those I work with into deeper relationship with the language of their bodies, into deeper solidarity with their most vulnerable parts, and into a fuller sense of authentic self-expression.
These are elements I weave into my own perspective and usage of Human Design, as well as in the readings I offer.
My work is rooted in an understanding of somatics, trauma, and shame; my experiences of CPTSD, disability, neurodivergence, and queerness; and a passion for collaborative relationship building, neuroscience, liberation, and the power of creativity, nature, community, curiosity, pleasure, and play.
