Position Title:

Part-time Intern (6 month position - mid-July through Dec 2017)

Position Description:

Hey you! Great news! Emily Tebbetts Photography is hiring a part time intern for July-December 2017! You'll be joining Emily and her trusty sidekick extraordinaire, Hillary, to help out with administrative tasks at Emily's home office in Roslindale, MA 10-20 hours a week (typically ~15hrs/wk). No need to be a photographer, but an interest in art/creativity/social media is cool! If you're a little bit obsessed with cats and dogs (Em has 2 and 1, respectively), are totally into the idea of snacking on homegrown fruits and veggies fresh from Emily's garden while you work, are eager to work hard and learn tons, and are organized, professional, warm, and enthusiastic, then we can't wait to meet you! We'll need you to have a reliable and preferably easy form of transportation to Emily's home office in Roslindale, MA, and be able to work most Mondays and Tuesdays (Sunday/Monday is also an option!).

If you're interested in additional work, you'll have the option to assist and eventually second shoot at weddings with Em and Hillary, too!

We're gearing up for an exciting period of growth, so some of the tasks may be subject to change, but here's an idea of what kinds of things you'll be working on with us!

-               Assist with culling (selecting) photos from various events and photography sessions

-               Assist with album pre-design

-               Assist with the upkeep of social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest

-               Create blog posts for Emily Tebbetts Photography’s blog

-               Submit weddings for online publication

-               Send wedding galleries out to associated vendors

-               Assist with other occasional various office tasks

Additional Considerations:

The office is located in Emily’s home, which is shared with two friendly cats and a medium sized dog (see "About" page for pictures!), so animal lovers are encouraged to apply! The office is about a 3-4 minute walk from the Bellevue stop on the Commuter rail, is steps away from the 35, 36, 37, and 38 bus lines (several of which go to Forest Hills) and also has ample free street parking. Having your own car is preferred, but not necessary!
